Sapa

Lovers of hiking, trekking and nature can enjoy Sapa, a former hill-station nestled in the mountains of northwestern Vietnam, around 400km from Hanoi.

Although remote, this region is famous for its rice terraces, its breathtaking mountain scenery, its biological variety and also the Vietnamese ethnic minority groups that inhabit the region.

There are colorful and lively local markets throughout the area and an array of walks from easy through to mountain climbing.
