Vietnam

More beautiful than you can imagine

Astonishingly exotic...

…and utterly compelling, Vietnam is a country of breathtaking natural beauty with an incredible heritage that quickly becomes addictive.

Vietnam is a deceptively large country – at almost 130,000 square miles, it’s almost the size of Germany. The Mekong Delta alone is around the size of Switzerland.

With a coastline of over 2,000 miles and fabulous beaches; outstanding countryside with 30 National Parks and 7 UNESCO World Heritage Sites – there’s more to see than you can imagine.

Let’s not forget the weather: With a tropical south and almost temperate north, you can sometimes experience all the seasons in one visit to this country of so many wonders!

Tourism

Tourism contributes greatly to Vietnam’s economic growth. It was voted as “Asia’s leading destination” by the World Travel Awards (WTA) in 2019.

The popular destinations include Ha Long Bay, Hue, Hoi An, Ho Chi Minh City and Phu Quoc island in southern Kien Giang province .

Vietnam offers various kinds of attractions ranging from cultural tourism, sea tourism, natural and ecological tourism as well as sports and recreation tourism. In 2019, Vietnam received more than 18 million international visitors.

Northern Region

Vietnam’s capital is a city of lakes and parks, of tree lined streets resplendent with French colonial villas and mansions – a European capital in the centre of Asia.

Hanoi is also the gateway to many of Vietnam’s most beautiful locations including: Halong Bay, Mai Chau Valley, Ninh Binh, Lao Cai and Sapa. With so much variety, we ensure our private tours are created with you in mind.

Depending on the season, visit minority villages and capture stunning scenery in Sapa, Bac Ha or Mai Chau Valley. If Vietnamese local life and nature is more your scene, we’ll take you to Cuc Phoung National Park and Tam Coc, which is also known as ‘Halong Bay on land’.

Oh, and speaking of Halong Bay, we work with the best cruise companies, tried and tested by us – so you’ll be sure of the best Halong Bay cruise.

Central Region

This narrowest part of Vietnam is home to no less than three UNESCO World Heritage sites – Hue Monuments, Hoi An Old Town and My Son Sanctuary.

From the beauty of Hoi An to the (now) serene peacefulness of the former DMZ (Demilitarized Zone) with evocative sites of the Vietnam War, central Vietnam is a joy to explore. Take a day with our own ‘War Veteran’ guide, to the Ben Hai River DMZ region and the very real Vinh Moc Wartime Tunnels.

Experience a drive over the stunning Hai Van Mountain Pass, savour some of Vietnam’s finest cuisine and relax on glorious sun-kissed beaches.

Southern Vietnam and the Mekong Delta

Evocative memories of the Vietnam War combine with today’s exciting city of Saigon and the peaceful everyday life in the Mekong Delta.

This region of southern Vietnam never ceases to amaze us. Saigon is everything you’d expect – and more! Colorful street markets, impressive architecture and four million motorcycles ensure that you really know you’re in a different world. Even crossing the road is a memorable experience – and we’ll show you how to do it the ‘locals way’!

Just a couple of hours or so away, is yet another world to discover: The peacefulness and serenity of the Mekong Delta shows a way of life relatively unchanged in generations. We’ll take you away from the mass package tourists, to explore hidden canals, cycle paths and peaceful islands.
